A Place for Robots |
This unit is aligned with both the Next Generation Science and CCSS standards for fourth to fifth grade. Students are encouraged to execute the Design Process to create a working model of a robot that would collect evidence proving that Saturn's moon is sustainable for life. Through this exploration, students will address the need for sustainability and be provided with an opportunity to discover the innovative, digital world of robotics. By the end of the unit, students will be challenged with presenting their designs to the education department at NASA, including an argument for why their design is essential for the mission. |
