Shared Resource Soaring Through Silent Skies
Although bald eagles are no longer endangered animals, we must still be aware of and address threats to their survival. In this fifth-grade, NGSS-aligned unit, students use the IDE Corp. Design Process to design a prototype that will protect the bald eagle from human-made threats. Models of the prototypes and action plans will be sent to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. *This Authentic Learning Unit can be modified to address other environmental programs and/or habitats.
